A young creator in the honor
In a next section, I shall present regularly young creators.
They are enthusiasts by their work. They like the good work. They like the beauty. They are perfectionists.
Unfortunately many people cannot live on their creation. Some will arrive there, others shall put their art in the service of workshops of big houses of jeweler's store, others shall have to change orientation.
If, with this column, I can help these talents, it will be a big satisfaction.
The one who inaugurates this approach is Antoine VELSCH, age 30.
This room below concretizes its three years of studies in jewelry and in summer presented to the price of art professions INMA in Metz in December, 2017. Bravo for his second place.
Let us let present him his creation:
Black money, ebony, horn of ram and unimplemented crystal feather by myself.
I chose a penholder to pay tribute to my father left too early ...
It was the man who liked the calligraphy, Celtic art and beekeeping, my room is established of each of his passions.
The crystal feather represents serenity and longevity.
The silver part represents wings of bees stylized in Celtic interlacings for the wisdom and the immortality of the soul.The horn of ram is the symbol of the fertility, life in movement and the creation, I also chose him as the pleasant color yellow orange-colored looking like the beeswax.
The black ebony represents hell, I especially chose him as the hardness and to contrast the set.
The room is maintained by a silver internal tube and represents its soul.
Here is my work, here is the soul of my father.

AIGS & GGTL Announce the creation of ‘Gem Alliance’
The AIGS (Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences) Laboratory and the GGTL announced that they are forming the Gem Alliance, a cooperation based on the sharing of information and gemological data.
The decision was taken by the AIGS Lab chairman, Kennedy Ho, and the founders of the GGTL, Franck Notari and Dr. Thomas Hainschwang.
Kennedy Ho said, “We recognized that by working together, we make our labs stronger, which led to the decision to form this alliance.”
The AIGS Lais based in Bangkok. The AIGS serves the gem and jewelry industry and the public alike with a comprehensive range of gemstone and jewelry analysis reports.
The AIGS is also a school of gemology.
The AIGS was founded by the Ho Group. It will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2018.
GGTL (GemLab and GemTechLab), are based in Geneva and Liechtenstein. They are a 20 year old full-service, independent gemological testing laboratories.
GGTL was founded and managed by two gemological experts and researchers Franck Notari and Dr. Thomas Hainschwang.
In GGTL a team of gemologists provides the complete range of gemological laboratoty services for diamonds, gemstones and pearls, with specialist focus on a number of advanced fields of research, including fancy colored diamonds and synthetic diamond detection.

In October, 2017: some new sportsmen
Devoted to my customers, lover of the good work, I am a perfectionist in my professional life and in my passion of gemstones and jewelry(jeweler's store), but also in my sports activities.
It is not custom, I want to share with you my sports results of these last two months.
At the end of August, third in veteran 3 on the trail of 100 km of the UT4M (which makes it 105), and 6000m of made uneven.
September 30th, 2017, third in the world championship of judo in veteran M7, less of 66kg.
