AIGS & GGTL Announce the creation of ‘Gem Alliance’
The AIGS (Asian Institute of Gemological Sciences) Laboratory and the GGTL announced that they are forming the Gem Alliance, a cooperation based on the sharing of information and gemological data.
The decision was taken by the AIGS Lab chairman, Kennedy Ho, and the founders of the GGTL, Franck Notari and Dr. Thomas Hainschwang.
Kennedy Ho said, “We recognized that by working together, we make our labs stronger, which led to the decision to form this alliance.”
The AIGS Lais based in Bangkok. The AIGS serves the gem and jewelry industry and the public alike with a comprehensive range of gemstone and jewelry analysis reports.
The AIGS is also a school of gemology.
The AIGS was founded by the Ho Group. It will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2018.
GGTL (GemLab and GemTechLab), are based in Geneva and Liechtenstein. They are a 20 year old full-service, independent gemological testing laboratories.
GGTL was founded and managed by two gemological experts and researchers Franck Notari and Dr. Thomas Hainschwang.
In GGTL a team of gemologists provides the complete range of gemological laboratoty services for diamonds, gemstones and pearls, with specialist focus on a number of advanced fields of research, including fancy colored diamonds and synthetic diamond detection.
